I normally am not crazy about rain. I know this saying will not make me popular, but think about it: it ruins shoes, puffs up frizzy hair and is generally uncomfortable. Hence, I have found three main ways to combat that wet, uncomfortable feeling, the SE way:
1. First way to survive the rain is wear wellies. They keep your feet dry and chic. There is nothing more disturbing in the world of Synthetic Elegance than having wet socks. It's even better if the wellies have polkadots on them for extra puddle fun.

2. Make sure you have an umbrella that is big enough to perform as a boat, in case of massive pouring.

3. If all else fails, learn to fly.

I'm wearing: dress- Pixie knitwear, denim shirt- vintage Levi's, tights- H&M, coat- Zara, umbrella- unknown, wellies- Plueys
So this is what I wore yesterday when it was pouring and I set out to get a new camera. Wearing this, not even the rain, not to mention the chauvinist pig of a salesman, have managed to ruin my experience of getting my very first dslr.
Do you like the rain or do you prefer to avoid it like yours truly? Do you wear wellies or do you think they are only appropriate for kindergartners? Tweet me!
You always have such great tips! I learn so much from this blog.
