Shop your own closet: The white button down

I have not so recently ordered two amazing button down shirts by All Saints. They look so good, well made, elegant that I'm afraid to wear them. I feel like I should do them justice by pairing them up with my other clothes and not be lazy in thinking of awesome outfits to incorporate them into.
Do you ever feel like a piece of clothing you own is too good for you? Well, this is the case here.
As you might have noticed (and if you haven't then try to open your eyes), I like sketching. It comes naturally to me, and it helps me in outfit planning.
So here are the outfits I thought of making with my white button down shirt.
A pop of color:
I think that wearing a button down under your sweater is a great way to go in this funky weather we are having. Giving a pop of color in the shape of a bright skirt is just the right touch.

Monochrome babe:
I love how you can dress down formal or semi formal clothing to wear everyday. Just pop on your brown jacket and boots and you are ready for errand running, school attending or whatever you usually do. I call this kind of outfits "lazy outfits". The outfit is not really to blame, though. Maybe I'm just a lazy dresser.

Black and white and shiny all over:
Sometimes you want to go all out but still keep it classy, right? Well, this menswear inspired outfit seems pretty great to me. It's flattering and man repelling at the same time.

An eye for the future:
Spring is right around the corner, so here is just an idea about how to take your favorite button down to the next season.

I now have all the Shop Your Own Closet posts under one category, that is easily accessible from the categories menu, located to your right. Also, I have a specific board for the images on Pinterest.
